Download an invoice PDF

Last updated: October 30, 2026

Download an invoice as a PDF from the Invoices list or from the invoice itself, or download several invoices at once. Your customer can also download the PDF from the invoice’s web link.

Downloading a PDF doesn’t change the invoice’s status. You can download a Draft invoice without sending it.

Download from the Invoices list

  1. Select Invoices in the sidebar.
  2. Select the more options menu (⋮) at the end of the invoice’s row.
  3. Select Download PDF.

Download from an invoice

  1. Open the invoice.
  2. Select the more options menu (⋮) at the top right of the invoice.
  3. Select Download PDF.

If you have unsaved changes, a prompt appears. Select Update now to save them and download the PDF.

Download several invoices at once

  1. Select Invoices in the sidebar.

  2. Select the checkbox next to each invoice you want.

  3. Select Bulk actions, then select Download PDFs.

You get a separate PDF for each selected invoice, whatever its status.

Your customer’s PDF

Your customer can download the PDF by selecting PDF on the invoice’s web link.

You can also attach the PDF when you email the invoice.

If you share a Draft invoice’s PDF yourself and the ‘view online’ banner is turned on, your customer can open the web link from the PDF and, if you accept online payments, pay the invoice. Sharing the PDF doesn’t change the invoice’s status.
