Notification preferences


Cinderblock can notify you about activity across jobs, appointments, tasks, estimates, invoices, and purchase orders. You choose which notifications you receive and how; email, in-app, or push notification on your phone.

Go to My Account > Notifications to manage your preferences.

Notification types

Email: sent to the email address on your account.

In-app: appears inside Cinderblock while you’re using the web app.

Push: sent to your phone via the Cinderblock mobile app. Push notifications require the mobile app to be installed and you to be logged in.

Notification settings

General notifications alert you to activity happening in real time. You can enable them per event and per channel (email, in-app, or push).

Jobs

  • When I’ve been assigned to a job
  • When I’m mentioned in a job note

Appointments

  • When I’ve been assigned to an appointment
  • When an appointment I created has a status update
  • When an appointment I’m assigned to has a status update

Tasks

  • When someone assigns me to a task

Estimates

  • When I’ve been assigned to an estimate
  • When a customer accepts or declines an estimate I created or am assigned to
  • When an estimate I created or am assigned to has been viewed

Invoices

  • When I’ve been assigned to an invoice
  • When a customer makes a payment on an invoice I created or am assigned to
  • When an invoice I created or am assigned to has been viewed

Purchase Orders

  • When a vendor updates the status on a PO I created or am assigned to
  • When a PO I created or am assigned to has been viewed

Saving your preferences

After making changes, click Update to save. Click Discard changes to revert to your last saved settings.
