Close your account


Closing your Cinderblock account is done through the mobile app. Once closed, your account is deactivated immediately, so make sure you’ve exported or saved anything you need before proceeding.

Before you close your account

Account closure is permanent and can only be initiated by an Admin. If you’re looking to remove a team member instead, see Add and manage users.

If you closed your account by accident, or changed your mind, contact us as soon as possible for account restoration. If too much time lapses following the account closure, it’s possible that your data may be irretrievable.

Steps to close your account

  1. Open the Cinderblock mobile app and log in.
  2. Tap the menu icon in the top left corner of the Home screen.
  3. Go to Settings.
  4. Tap My Profile > My Information > Account settings.
  5. Tap Close my account.
  6. Tap Proceed with closing my account to confirm.

Your account will be closed immediately.

Data retention

Your data is retained on our servers for 30 days after closure. If you change your mind, contact support within that window and we can restore your account. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
