Permission roles
Last updated: November 5, 2026
Every user has a role: Admin, Manager, or User. A role’s permissions control what its users can access in Cinderblock.
The roles
- Admin: Has full access to Cinderblock. The Admin role can’t be edited.
- Manager and User: Their permissions can be customized.
To change a user’s role, edit the user. See Add and manage users.
Customize a role
- Select the gear icon in the top header, then select User accounts > Permission roles.
- Open the role’s menu and select Edit role.
- Change the Role name or permissions.
- Select Update.
To return the role to its default permissions, select Restore to default.
