Timesheets from appointment check-ins
Last updated: November 4, 2026
When you check in to an appointment, the time you work is recorded on a timesheet.
How appointment time is recorded
- Checking in starts recording time. Pausing or checking out stops it.
- If you pause and resume, each period of work is recorded as its own timesheet.
- Each timesheet is linked to the appointment and, if the appointment is linked to a job, to the job.
- Timesheets record the time actually worked, which can differ from the appointment’s scheduled time.
To check in, pause, resume, and check out, see Check in and out of an appointment.
Find appointment time
- In Timesheets, open the filters.
- Under Type, choose Appointment.
- Select Apply.
Open a timesheet and select its linked appointment to open the appointment.
One appointment at a time
You can be checked in to only one appointment at a time. You also can’t track time on a job while you’re checked in to an appointment. See Timesheet types and statuses.
