Last updated: November 3, 2026
View a job’s details, manage related records, and post notes in the Cinderblock mobile app.
Open a job
- Select Jobs.
- Select the job.
The job’s number, date, status, and name appear at the top, along with its customer, job address, description, assigned users, and tags. To find a specific job, see Find and filter jobs.
View a job’s related records
Each type of related record has a count on the job: appointments, tasks, files, forms, estimates, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Open the job.
- Select Appointments, Tasks, Files, Forms, Estimates, Invoices, or Purchase orders.
Tasks are grouped into To do and Completed.
Add a record to a job
There are two ways to add a record to a job.
From a related list: Open the list on the job, then select:
| To add | Select |
|---|---|
| An appointment | New appointment |
| A task | New task |
| A file | Add file |
| A form | Add form |
| An estimate | New estimate |
| An invoice | New invoice |
| A purchase order | New PO |
From the Create menu: Select Create on the job and choose Appointment, Task, Form, Estimate, Invoice, or PO.
The new record is linked to the job. When you create related records:
- An appointment uses the job’s customer and address.
- A form is added from one of your existing form templates.
- A purchase order is for a vendor, not the job’s customer.
For details, see Create and edit an estimate and Create and edit a purchase order.
Open the job’s customer
- On the job, select the customer to see their details.
- Select View customer to open the customer’s profile.
Add a note to a job
- Open the job’s notes.
- Select New note.
- Enter your note and select Post.
