Web Updates

Customer-facing estimates and invoices

The web links you share with customers for estimates and invoices have been redesigned to complement the recent PDF upgrade. They look sharper, they’re easier to read on a phone, and they look the part.

Vendor-facing purchase orders

Same treatment for purchase orders. Your subcontractors and vendors now get a smooth web experience that looks great on a phone.

Signature collection on invoices

You can now collect a signature directly on an invoice web link. If you have payments activated, you can ensure your customer signs before they pay.

Licenses section in Company Profile

There’s a new Licenses section in your Company Profile. Add your license numbers and they will show up automatically on your PDFs and web links.

Previously, contractors were adding license info to their logo, their address block, or the public note. It worked, but it was messy. Now we have it sorted.

Simplified user role permissions

We reworked permissions so that they’re easier to understand.

Performance

Following a major rework to how we handle some of our offline functionality, the app is now faster, both online and offline.

Schedule screen

Switching between users and dates on the Schedule screen is now easier, because we redesigned the screen so that user and date selection are always visible

Work stays put between screens

Previously, navigating away from a scree could reset your position and filters. We changed it so that the position only resets when you relaunch the app, so that during back and forth use you don’t lose what you’re working on.

Timesheet default location toggle

There’s a new setting to control what the location toggle defaults to when creating a timesheet (when starting/stopping the clock or checking-in/out of an appointment). Set it once to avoid needless tapping every time you create a timesheet.

if you have a company policy rule that enforces the location toggle, users configured with that policy will not be able to override it; the default location setting only appears when the rule isn't enforced on the company level.

Bug fixes

Photo and video thumbnails no longer break after you take them.
Tasks no longer close when you change the priority.
